Nigerian Army donates solar-powered borehole to Alamala community in Ogun.

In an effort to address the challenge of lack of clean and drinkable water supply in Alamala Community in Abeokuta, the Nigerian Army 35 Artillery Brigade, under the leadership of Brigadier General Mohammed Aminu, has donated a solar-powered industrial borehole to the community.

A medical outreach was also organized for residents of Owode Yewa in Ipokia Local Government

In order to further boost the civil - military relationship and to assist residents of Ogun Communities, the Nigerian Army 35 Artillery Brigade has donated solar powered borehole to the ALAMALA community in Abeokuta North Local Government area.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Brigadier General Aminu said the project will assist the residents and provide them with clean water supply.

He also highlighted the collaborative efforts taken by the army in engaging communities to identify critical needs and providing assistance with the available resources.

The community leader and other residents commended the efforts of the Nigerian Army and expressed their gratitude.

Also, a special medical outreach was organized for residents of Owode Yewa Community in Ipokia Local Government.

The Brigade Commander said the initial was to give back to the society and boost the relationship with host communities.
