Legal practitioners fault looters' list
Some legal practitioners in Nigeria have placed their comments on the lists of suspected looters of the country’s treasury that was recently released.
The legal practitioners said that the recent list was a serious indictment on the anti-corruption crusade of the government.
Barrister Femi Aborisade and Barrister Wale Akinremi in separate interviews with correspondent Kunle Ojo on the issue accused the Buhari’s administration of been bias, saying there was nothing new in the list.
The legal practitioners stressed the need for government to allow a transparent system handle the fight against corruption, adding that a non-objective approach would be of no help.
They charged all Nigerians, irrespective of their ethnic and political affiliations, to be united in the fight against corruption in the country.
