Labour leaders and workers in Ogun State have commended the Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration over the commencement of payment of minimum wage.

They gave the commendation at the arcade ground, Governor's office, Oke-Mosan in Abeokuta during 'a thank you' visit.

The workers led by State Head of Service, Salmot Otun and other labour leaders while commending the government, assured of their full commitment to the present administration's mission in developing the State.

They also appealed to Governor, Dapo Abiodun to address other demands in the Memorandum of Understanding the government signed with them.

In his response, the governor said the government is committed to all the promises he made to the workers; assuring his administration's determination to repair the broken trust between the government and the state workforce.
