In Imo state southeast Nigeria, thousands of Imo people especially those in the PDP have trooped out in mass to protest against the recent judgment of the supreme court that ousted the PDP candidate from the seat of power.

The people in their large number posses the popular Okigwe road down to the government despite the heavily armed security personnel presence.

They were seen carrying large and small banners of various inscriptions as they register their grievances to the world.

Correspondent Ajibade Awofeso reports that women were seen crying and rolling on the floor expressing how pained they are over the removal of governor Emeka Ihedioha.

The protest was peaceful and no form of violence was recorded.
