Stakeholders in Bayelsa State have condemned the last Sunday's public onslaught of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on the Ijaw National Congress and Ijaw Youth Council over the ultimatum issued him on the controversial arrest of an Ijaw governorship aspirant and federal lawmaker, Hon. Farah Dagogo.  

Speaking on the matter, the spokesman of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe described Wike's comments as disturbing and insulting on the Ijaw ethnic nationality, calling on his kinsmen to call him to order, as his actions are capable of breaching the harmonious relationship between the Ikwerres and the Ijaws. 

An activist and Bayelsa resident calls on the leadership of the INC and IYC to tread with caution in their activities and to always remember whatever mistake they make may fall back on the entire Ijaw ethnic nationality.
