A judge serving at Federal High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo state, Justice Abdul Dogo has been abducted by unknown gunmen.

Justice Dogo was kidnapped with his driver at Ibilo/Isua Akoko axis, a border area between Ondo and Edo states, on their way from Abuja to Akure on Tuesday.

Galaxy news confirmed the incident from a reliable source when the judge did not show up in his court for hearing of cases.

It was gathered that the kidnappers had contacted family members and officials of the Federal High Court in Akure and Abuja with a demand of #50million ransom.
