Group Provides Lifeline For 100 Students, Disables in Rivers

An interventionist humanitarian group, Restoring Hope, has extended lifeline to over 100 students and persons living with disabilities, PWDs, Rivers State to bridge the gap deprivation for the vulnerable people in the State.

The group assist the needy through education and disability support.

The outreach spread across Okrika and Ogu/Bolo Local Government Areas; it is aimed to turn the tide for those struggling to access education and basic mobility.


In Okrika and Ogu/Bolo, what began as a simple gathering quickly transformed into a milestone for several residents. Over 100 beneficiaries, comprising of students offered scholarship and persons living with disabilities who received life-changing support.

For the students, these scholarships represent more than just financial aid but a dream that was once slipping away.

Alongside them, persons living with disabilities were provided with essential aids, specifically, designed to restore independence and ease the physical toll of daily life.
