Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has said that he has no regret over steps his administration took in the last eight years.

The governor made the remarks during the swearing in of members of the state civil service commission at the government house in Benin city.

Governor Obaseki remarks, is coming amid criticism from the All Progressives Congress led by Philip Shaibu, who expressed concern over the swearing in of members of the commission.

A member of the commission who spoke on behalf of members, thanked the governor for the gesture.
