The federal government and other African Leaders have been charged to take the opportunity offered by the suspension of aides from the United States of America and use the resources available to improve on healthcare services for the benefits of the people.

This charge was made at a press briefing organized by equity international initiative where a comprehensive report of 2024 was reeled out.

It was said that all beneficiary countries of US aide should not see the suspension by President Donald Trump as a bad thing, but a call to utilize the abundant resources which have not been judiciously utilized in the past.

The civil society group also called for review of national youth service corps away from the old system of national service, which is basically unproductive in all ramifications.

Equity international initiative also charged Nigeria government to be wary of GMO farm produce, which according to them, is genetically modified and totally unharmful to human.
