Ann on camera The Federal Ministry of Works and Housing has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the renewed momentum on the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Expressway and other critical road infrastructure projects across Kaduna State.

The Kaduna State Controller of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Engr. Loveday Ulagu, led the inspection team on tour of ongoing federal road projects in Kaduna State. He noted that construction activities on the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Expressway have taken a new and accelerated dimension.

The inspection covered several key projects, including the Kaduna Western and Eastern Bypass roads, Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Expressway, Wusasa–Turunku–Mararaba Jos Road, Zaria–Funtua–Sokoto Road, and the Pambegua–Mararaba Jos Road, among others.

Speaking on behalf of the Dangote Group, Engr. Jonathan Obrusu said the company’s involvement in road construction aligns with its corporate social responsibility, aimed at supporting government efforts to improve the lives of citizens. He noted that the Dangote Group is working closely with the Dantata Group to ensure timely delivery of the project and ease of access for road users.

During the tour, several completed repair interventions initiated by the Minister of Works were commissioned. Official from the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) participated in the inspection tour.
