211,000 Candidates Participate in 2025 Mock Examination by Jamb

No fewer than 211,000 candidates on Thursday participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mock exam organized by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) across designated Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, who monitored the exercise in Bwari, Abuja, announced that the results will be released on Friday.
GALAXY TV reports that Oloyede explained that the purpose of the mock exam is to test JAMB’s readiness for the main UTME and to try out new strategies for improvement.
He warned candidates against relying on rogue websites that promise exam assistance, revealing that JAMB has created a decoy site to catch such individuals.
The Registrar stressed that the only sure way to succeed in the UTME is through studying, advising students not to share their registration numbers or register by proxy.
The 2025 UTME is scheduled to begin on April 25 at approved CBT centres across the country.
