The Department of Petroleum Resources has sealed six gas plants and two petrol stations over what they described as sharp practices in carrying out their business within Warri metropolis.

The exercise which lasted for several hours started at Effurun in the early hours of the morning before proceeding to Warri and environs.

Speaking on the operation, the head of DPR operations Warri unit Chuks Odumegu spoke on the unprofessional conduct of Gas plant owners in the cities.

He blamed petroleum marketers for sabotaging government policies by under dispensing petroleum products to unsuspecting customers.

The sealed petrol stations and Gas plants according to the DPR head of operations will face a penalty of fines before the seal will be removed from their operational offices.
