Governor Adebayo Adeleke of Osun State has launched a Security Trust Fund aimed at strengthening security across the state through public and private sector collaboration.

Governor Adeleke, at the inauguration ceremony in Osogbo, said this comes amid growing concerns over the spillover of insecurity from neighboring states, such as Kwara, Ekiti, and Ondo, where cases of banditry and kidnapping have been reported.

The event attracted key stakeholders, including corporate organizations, philanthropists, and heads of security agencies.

The Security Trust Fund, established by law, is designed to mobilize resources from individuals, corporate bodies, and other stakeholders to support security agencies with modern equipment, training, and logistics
