CMD decries exodus of young doctors
The Chief Medical Director, University College Hospital, Ibadan, Prof. Jesse Otegbayo has decried the continuous exodus of young Doctors from Nigeria to other countries while calling on the government and all stakeholders to step in.
Prof. Otegbayo while speaking with Journalists on the state of healthcare in the country identified poor working condition, poor remuneration and lack of job satisfaction for their actions.
He maintained that the situation has changed from what it used to be in the past when experienced doctors were leaving the country stressing that the present situation is a bad signal for the health sector.
