Gentry says Aigbe suffers mental instability
Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe's husband Lanre Gentry has disclosed that he has tolerated enough of his wife as she is mentally unstable.
Gentry in an interveiw revealed that Aigbe has mental issues and most men can not tolerate what he has been through with her.
He said: "am the one who knows how many places we have been to, so that she can remain stable. I have papers to prove these."
Gentry defended the allegation that he is the wife beater, he said it was Mercy and her friends who came together to attack him in her designer, Luminee’s house. They all beat him while his wife banged his head with a stool.
Trying to prove innocence of the alleged assault, the actres husband sweared that he has never beaten Aigbe through out their union despite that he has caught her severally cheating with different men.
Gentry recalled when she told him that she was going to China for two weeks but instead she spent the time in a Dubai hotel with another man.
He revealed that his estranged wife, in a chat was reportedly asking a third party to get some dollars from the man for her. When he challenged his wife, said his wife denied this and told him another story to the alleged media chat he saw.
He said: "she said she only wanted to collect money from him (a married woman!!! )but I discovered that it was the same man that paid for the Magodo house she just moved to, which I also found out had been rented over a month ago.
See, I understand Mercy's antics too well. All she wants is to move out of my house and be free to live the life of a single woman. What I have tolerated from her all these years, no man can tolerate from any woman.
He added that as a husband, he worships Mercy and has deposited N8million to buy her a N16million Range Rover ENVOGUE for her 40th birthday, paid N1.2m for a hall opposite Sheraton hotel to celebrate her big but she has her eyes on other things.
